Which Health Insurance Is Best For Us? I Live Near Los Angeles.?
I am a freelance computer technician so nobody’s paying for our health insurance. I make about $2,500/months after tax. My wife stays home. We both are healthy. I am 37 years old. My wife is 31 years old. We might be having kids soon. We rent 2 bed 1 bath apartment for $900/ months. We both drive older model economy cars which are paid for. I visited few health insurance websites but they have so many different options I don’t know which one is good. Can anybody give us some hints about which coverage we should get? We are interested in getting PPO instead of HMO. So many options and we just cannot decide. Thanks.

It really depends on what you are looking for in your coverage! If you go to the doc a lot and you want prescriptions to be cheaper and visits to be more inexpensive, or if you want something that will pay for more major things like surgery and such…If you want to e-mail me I will send you quotes and help you decide on what your options are.

Try a comparison engine to get an idea of cost/availability etc. Squaremouth is a company that offers better service than most on line sites. You can easily get someone on the phone who will answer questions and provide help.http://www.squaremouth.com/health-insura…

I use Blue Cross Blue Shield, which covers just about everything. You should use a PPO so you have your say in what doctors you want to go to. Otherwise, you’re forced to go to ones that are covered by your plan, which may not be beneficial if you need to go to a specialist one day.
