Uk Car Insurance Any Companies Do A Temporary Policy?
hi there my car needs insuring but in january i finish work for maternity leave and am selling my car to a friend dont want to pay massive cancellation fees are there any insurance companies that do temporary policies eg from now til january approx 11 weeks

Most insurance companies will do short term insurance for you, the other way is to buy an annual policy but on a pay monthly basis which you can then cancel when you need to.

Try http://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk – they do monthly pay as you go car insurance that can be cancelled at any time (I’ve used them for a bike but not for a car). You can also instantly amend your policy online too.

Just get one where you pay monthly then cancel it when you get rid of the car
