Did his truck make a back-up beeping sound?
Did you get the impression he was drunk or something? Or any other reason why he would do such a thing? Do you get the impression he's so incompetent he should lose his license to not be a constant danger to everyone on the road?
You should be aware that a lot of insurance companies will try to cheat and not pay as much as they should. For that reason, you need a good attorney. Not just a random attorney, because a lot of them are borderline incompetent. A good one recommended by lots of people you trust.

not sure what to tell you but you need to talk to an attorney, but it looks like it is both your fault and his so that is why you need to speak to someone

Just be sure you have names and numbers of witnesses who can verify he backed into you. You cannot settle until you know the extent of your damage and medical expenses. Call your insurance company and let them handle it. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING.

As you know the truck driver is completely at fault for this accident.
The truck drivers insurance company will gladly pay for the damage to your car and your medical bills. Make sure you give them your medical bills. But as for pain and suffering you probly should get an attorney because your injuries may be serious. And, insurance companies will not give you much when it comes to the "pain and suffering" settlement.

If you're hell bent on doing chiro visits, you'll be lucky to get enough to cover the chiro.
Damage to your lower back (which is your spine), does that mean it's broken? How disabled are you? That's all relevant to a settlement, but I can guarantee you, you won't be looking at big money fast. You'll have to wait until your injuries have had a chance to heal, to see how completely they heal, to figure out how disabled you'll be for the rest of your life. You're probably looking at 18 months or so, to figure that out.
And it's going to matter what procedures you have done, medically.
The chiro stuff, means nothing really serious, and chiro visits aren't going to be taken very seriously. It's your medical stuff, and how disabled you are permanently, that counts.
