I hit a deer just over a month ago with my 2003 ion I bought last October, after 4,000 worth of damage (thank god for insurance) for repairs with the deer damage I get in my car tonite and the check engine light is on so I take it straight to Auto Zone and they said it is the O2 sensor, the price they quoted me was 135.00 for the part, I am wondering if this is alot and if my dad can change it, he is pretty good with cars, replaces the brake pads, brakes, roters, oil things like that. insurance.I go through AIG now,but i did call Geico and got a quote.I do apologize for my spelling.Ok i live in NY my car stays in my barn all winter,i took it out today after tunning,fluid changing and all that.I was out ramming,it wasn’t a nice day but i had that itch,so i took her out.Geico quoted me $617 and change to insure it,every 6 months,full coverage,theft everything.It’s a 2004 Corvette.Is this reasonable you think? My credit is still low and i cant seem to get financing. I don’t even have anymore debt, but know one will finance me. I refuse to go to these mom and pop finance people.
How long do you think i should wait to submit another application for financing a auto. And also does anyone know cheap insurance for a 21 year old? I recieved quotes from a few people and i can’t afford a house mortage.

The first accident was caused by someone backing out of their spot and not noticing me, resulted in a huge dent in the lower-side of the passenger door. The second was me getting rear-ended, basically ruining my bumper and the trunk won’t stay shut. Taking these two situaitons into perspective, I’m going to require a ton of body work on the car. Car value (Kelley Blue Book) about $4200-4500 (just bought it a couple of months ago for $5K). Older car, low low mileage. Seriously excellent condition, fancy wheels, no similar cars close to the low mileage anywhere near $5K within a 200 mile radius. Body work $5K est from body shop.
