Good Insurance Companies..i Want To Switch My Car Insurance..i Need Advice?
I have my auto insurance with Allstate and they’re just ripping me off. They’re always bringing up the prices yearly and I want to know where I can get a better offer. My car is a 2004 Elantra and they want to charge me 1 369 $ from March 4th to January 24th and that’s just too much. I know there must be a better insurance company out there. Which ones and can I get a quote online ?

have you ever tried Geico? I am paying 230 for 6 months of full coverage. They like to work even more with you if when you call you tell them you have allstate and they are ripping you off. Stay away from Progressive they are horribly high. For the same car that I have insured through Geico they wanted to charge about 700 for 6 months…crazy!

If you go to the various company sites you can get a general quote and find a decent company. try Nationwide, State Farm, Geico, Progressive, Erie, and any others you can think of. Make sure you’re comparing apples to apples though and select the same deductible and PIP for each. If yo don’t want to do all of the leg work you can always call a local insurance broker and they’ll find you the best rates. Consider having your homeowners or renters insurance with whatever company carries your car insurance. You can often get a discount for having multiple policies with the same company. Most importantly try to keep from getting into accidents or getting speeding or parking tickets. These often cause your car insurance to go up annually. Most companies will give you discounts each year that you stay with them and have a clean record. Good luck!

For auto insurance the obvious way to get a low quote is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make certain that you choose similar options with the same deductibles, car type, zip code, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.
What I usually recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have discount insurers and will give many quotes on car insurance polices.

In my experience, Allstate has been high. I currently use American Family, they have good rates. My dad uses them, he has unfortunatly had a few claims, and he said that they were a breeze to work with. They offer online quotes as well.
If you are looking for “good” insurance, consider a “premium” insurance, they will have the best claim service, if you have a clean driving record, they will be affordable as well. Premium insurance is only sold through trained independent agents, so you cannot get a quote online, but you can speak to a local agent over the phone. If you are going to go that route, look up insurance rankings in your state, and contact an agent.
